We've spent over two decades falling in love with hospitality spaces. The ones that stop you at the door. The ones with a story running through every decision.
That's what we design. Warm, considered, joyful spaces that feel completely right.
Liife Architecture is a Brisbane-based hospitality design studio founded in 2020 by Jessica Hersch, registered architect and 20-plus year veteran of Queensland's venue scene. We specialise in bars, restaurants, clubs, pubs and hotels, and we offer everything from concept to completion. Architecture, interior design, furniture and lighting selection, art curation, graphic integration and styling. We don't hand over the keys until every last detail is right.
What sets us apart isn't just experience, though we have plenty of it. It's perspective. Liife is one of the few female-led practices in hospitality design in Queensland, and that lens shapes everything we do. We design spaces that feel welcoming to everyone. Warm, considered, alive.
We work directly with our clients at every stage. No handoffs, no junior teams left to interpret the brief. Just close, collaborative, deeply considered design from the people who care most about the outcome.
We believe joy is not a finishing touch. It's the starting point.

We found the story in it anyway. Earthy, verdant, warm. An operable courtyard that makes you forget you're inside, an olive tree rooted in local heritage, artwork by Brisbane artist Drapl woven into the walls.
